For over 24 years the Klub Group has offered activity camps across the UK for children and young
people to try out new sports and adventure activities. They are now offering the children of serving
and ex-Service men and women the chance to join in these Adventure Breaks. It's a chance for them to
leave their parents at home, gain some independence, meet new friends and learn a whole lot of new
things! Whether its an Easter or Summer camp they will have the time of their life! So let the adventures begin.
The Royal British Legion's Poppy Adventure Breaks provide residential adventure and activity holidays
for 12 to 17 year olds. They take place at five of the Klub Group sites as follows:

Each Adventure Break includes seven night's full board accommodation with three meals a day. All on
site activities selected from over 50 activities available and a trip to a nearby theme park. The
children have 24 hour a day supervision and are provided with pocket money. Transport to and from
the centre is provided from designated pick up points. The activities can include:

The Royal British Legion helps people of all ages and backgrounds. The key focus of the
Adventure Break is to assist families with young people who are eligible under the Royal
Charter and who are between the ages of 12 and 17 years old and meet one of
the criteria below:

From a one parent household because of bereavement or break up of the family. | |
|
|
From a family with one parent currently serving on overseas operations | |
|
|
From a family where a parent is caring for a disabled partner. | |
|
|
From a family who have not had a holiday or break away from home in three years. | |
|
|
From a one or two parent household with less than £25,000 gross annual income per year. |
