Jonathan Morris who is the Standard Bearer for the Chaddesden Branch of the Royal British Legion carried out
a sponsored walk along Hadrian's Wall raising over £300 for the Poppy Appeal. The walk was from Ravenglass,
on the Cumbrian coast to Arbeia at South Sheilds, a distance of 150 miles. The walk started on Saturday
1st May and it took six days for him to walk coast to coast.
Jonathan, who served in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, suffers from PTSD and also has badly damaged knees
as a result of his Service. He was accompanied on the walk by James Moody, a former member of the US Marines,
who helped him to get through this ordeal. He would like to thank all who sponsored him on the walk.
