Admission Charges
There is no charge for admission but we are dependent on donations and all contributions are welcome
to help with the maintenance and upkeep of the site. Visitors
arriving independently by car should be aware that a parking charge
of £2.00 per day will be introduced during the summer.
Visitor Centre
This houses the Arboretum Shop, The Guelder Rose Art Gallery and The Arbor Restaurant which serves a wide range of snacks, drinks and hot meals.
Millennium Chapel of Peace and Forgiveness
The only Chapel in the UK dedicated in Millennium year. The Act of Remembrance is observed in the Chapel at 11:00am each day.
Disabled Access
There is easy level access to the Visitor Centre which has disabled toilet facilities and there are firm level paths giving access to much of the site. Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available to our less mobile visitors. Booking of these is advisable and whilst there is no charge for the use of these, donations are welcome.
Group Bookings
There are facilities on site to cater for parties by prior arrangement. We are also equipped to host conferences.
Education
Groups of children from schools or other groups are very welcome. Visits can be tailored to specific requirements according to the age and particular interests of the groups.
For more information see the education page.
Guided Tours
Site tours of varying lengths can be
arranged.
Guide Dogs
Guide dogs are welcome. The Arboretum is an area of peace and reflection and also a newly emerging Wildlife Centre and for these reasons pet dogs are not allowed around the site. There is a small area where dogs can be exercised and bowls of water are available.
