  • Remembrance is kept alive and that the sacrifices our brave Service men and women have made over the last 80 years are never forgotten.
  • The ex-Service community have a voice and that their concerns are brought to the public eye.

Becoming a member also provides the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities and events held locally, regionally and nationally throughout the year.

Single Membership

The Royal British Legion now has a Single Membership, giving all members equal rights to participate in Branch, County and National decision-making processes of the organisation. Applicants under the age of eighteen will be entered as Youth Members.

The move to a Single Membership however, does not change the status of the beneficiary, the person who is the object of our fundraising and benevolence activities. The only people who can benefit from our funds remain the members of the Service and ex-Service community and their dependants who are in need.
