The HMS Kenya Association is an association for ex-members of the crew of HMS Kenya. HMS Kenya
was a Royal Navy Fiji class cruiser, which was adopted by the Town of Derby during Warship Week in 1942.
It was part of a fund-raising drive during the WWII to raise cash, when
almost £2m was raised in a single week for the Royal Navy.
HMS Kenya was launched by HRH The Duchess of Gloucester on 18th August 1939 and the build was completed on
28th August 1940. She was broken up on 29th October 1962.
Members of the crew of HMS Kenya's formed this ssociation and they hold an annual reunion in City of Derby.
