The Derby & District Ex-Service Association, was formed in 1995 to foster the needs of the Ex-Service
communities within the City of Derby and the surrounding District. There are twenty-five member associations
that form the Association in addition there is a representative from Derby City Council.
The Association meets three times a year. The meetings have been held on a Monday morning in the Council Chamber,
Derby City Council House, Corporation Street, Derby DE1 2F, but during
the refurbishment of the Council House other locations will be used and
will be notified in the Events page.

The Associations Logo
The Logo has the Associations name in two arced banners above and below the symbols that represent the
Services and the City of Derby. The symbols are the anchor for the Royal Navy, crossed swords for the
Army and wings for the Royal Air Force, in the centre is a shield emblazoned
with the City of Derby coat-of-arms.
